Youth Program Inspires Students During Visit to Renton Technical College

Renton, WA – The Congolese Integration Network’s youth program is celebrating a successful and inspiring visit to Renton Technical College (RTC) that took place on May 27. The tour brought together a vibrant mix of students, including current college attendees, high school graduates and students preparing for their next academic steps.

Thanks to the generous support of King County, this visit gave participants a unique opportunity to explore educational pathways and build connections for their future. The RTC outreach team welcomed the group with in-depth information on the school’s wide-ranging programs, sparking new interest among students.

Many were impressed by the diverse academic options available at RTC. Some current college students are now considering transferring, while several high school participants expressed interest in the Running Start program.

The visit not only offered practical guidance but also empowered students to envision new futures for themselves and their families. A number of attendees have already made the exciting decision to enroll at RTC this fall.

The Congolese Integration Network extended heartfelt thanks to King County and all who made this visit a reality. The tour stands as a testament to the power of access, opportunity and community investment.
