The Amani House serves single refugee and immigrant women from underserved BIPOC communities, including those with up to two children under the age of 10. Priority is given to individuals exiting homelessness and those earning 30% or less of the area median income.

Services

Residents at the Amani House receive 24/7 case management and culturally sensitive support tailored to

Employment Assistance: Guidance in job search, resume building, and interview preparation to help residents secure stable employment.

Mental Health Support: Access to counseling and therapy services to address trauma and promote emotional well-being.

Childcare and Education: Assistance in finding quality childcare and educational opportunities for children, as well as educational resources for mothers.

Life Skills Development: Workshops and training sessions on financial literacy, cooking, time management, and other essential skills for independent living.

About Amani House

The Amani House, an initiative by the Congolese Integration Network (CIN), offers transitional housing for single refugee and immigrant women from underserved BIPOC communities, including those with up to two children under the age of 10. Located in Bellevue, Washington, the house provides a safe and supportive environment to help residents heal from trauma, develop life skills, and transition to permanent housing within two years.
