Youth Adventure at Snoqualmie Pass Brings Joy and Connection

Young participants from programs organized by Congolese Integration Network (CIN) recently enjoyed an unforgettable winter outing at Snoqualmie Pass, where a day in the snow turned into a memorable experience of fun, teamwork, and community bonding.

The trip offered many youth the chance to experience snow up close for the first time. The day was filled with snowball fights, sledding races, laughter, and moments of encouragement as participants helped one another navigate the snowy hills.

Organizers say the outing was about more than recreation. It created a safe and supportive environment where young people could step outside their comfort zones, build friendships, and develop confidence while enjoying the outdoors.

Between sledding runs and playful competitions, the group shared warm breaks with hot chocolate and conversation, strengthening connections among participants and mentors alike.

CIN leaders say experiences like this highlight the importance of providing positive spaces where youth can explore, grow, and simply enjoy being kids. By organizing activities that combine adventure with community support, the organization hopes to continue inspiring young people and creating lasting memories.

The organization also thanked the partners and supporters who help make these opportunities possible, noting that more youth activities and community experiences are planned in the months ahead. ❄️📰
