We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the Congolese Integration Network (CIN) has been chosen as the recipient of a RAVE Community Grant for our "Refugees and Immigrants Week Tournament" project. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and the positive impact this will have on our community. Our project aims to utilize the power of football as a unifying tool to heal from traumatic stress, maintain both our mental and physical health and empower young people from refugee and immigrant families during the upcoming summer.

We believe that sports, especially football, have the ability to transcend cultural and social barriers, bringing people from diverse backgrounds together. The tournament will be held during the Refugees and Immigrants Week, providing a much-needed platform for young people to come together and express their passion for football. It will not only be a showcase of their skills on the field but also an opportunity to build relationships and create lasting connections off the field. We understand the challenges that many young people from refugee and immigrant families face when trying to integrate into a new society. Language barriers, cultural differences, and a sense of isolation can often hinder their ability to fully participate and thrive in their new communities. That is why we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for these young individuals to come together. Through the power of football, we hope to break down these barriers and create a sense of belonging. We want to empower these young people, boost their self-confidence, and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents. By doing so, we believe we can promote integration and social inclusion among young people from refugee and immigrant backgrounds. RAVE, the organization behind the Community Grant, recognizes the importance of supporting projects like ours. They encourage the public to contribute and make donations to help fund more community initiatives that promote integration and social inclusion. By supporting projects like ours, we can all play a role in creating a more inclusive and welcoming society for everyone.

The "Refugees and Immigrants Week Tournament" project is a shining example of how sports can be used as a tool for positive change. It not only provides a platform for young people to come together and express their passion for football but also promotes integration and social inclusion. We are grateful for the support of RAVE and the opportunity to make a difference in our community. With our slogan “ Different but United” Together, we can create a more united and harmonious society for all. Let's come together and make a positive impact on the lives of young people regardless of their origins
