Community Healing Circle Confronts the Realities of Vaping

ree

A recent Adult Healing Circle brought members of the community together for an open, candid conversation about the growing concerns surrounding vaping. The gathering, organized in partnership with King County, aimed to shed light on the health risks often overlooked in a culture that increasingly treats vaping as harmless.

Guided by a licensed mental-health therapist, participants explored the physical and emotional toll of nicotine addiction, shared personal stories, and discussed the challenges of quitting. According to organizers, the session created a safe and supportive environment that encouraged honesty and connection.

Attendees left with a clearer understanding of the dangers associated with vaping, as well as practical strategies for cessation. The circle also strengthened community ties, offering a space where individuals could support one another and learn how to help loved ones make healthier choices.

We expressed gratitude to all who participated and emphasized their commitment to continuing these conversations. Community members who were unable to attend are encouraged to reach out for information on upcoming sessions aimed at promoting wellness and reducing the stigma around addiction.
