Congolese Integration Network Honored by SeaTac Council for Welcoming Week

SEATAC, WACongolese Integration Network (CIN) received a prestigious honor at a recent SeaTac City Council meeting, accepting the SeaTac Welcoming Week Resolution. The recognition highlights CIN's dedicated efforts to promote unity, understanding, and inclusivity within the community.


The award was presented as part of SeaTac Welcoming Week, a city-wide initiative celebrating diversity. CIN's selection underscores its role in fostering a welcoming environment for residents of all backgrounds, particularly those from the vibrant Congolese community.


Art and Culture Take Center Stage

During the event, CIN seized the opportunity to showcase the rich artistic traditions of the Congo. Attendees were treated to an exhibition of Congolese-inspired art, featuring stunning paintings and intricate crafts that reflect the community's culture and creativity.


CIN also introduced several local Congolese artists, shining a spotlight on their hard work and talent. The display powerfully illustrated how art can serve as a bridge, bringing people together across cultural divides.
