Community Leaders Strengthen Partnerships During CIN Office Visit

Congolese Integration Network (CIN) welcomed a special guest this week as Lisa Herbold, representing King County, visited the organization’s office for a meeting focused on community impact and collaboration.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions about CIN’s ongoing work supporting immigrant and refugee families. Leaders from both sides reflected on the progress made through community programs and explored ways to continue strengthening services that empower families across the region.

During the meeting, participants highlighted the importance of partnerships between community-based organizations and local government institutions. Such collaboration plays a crucial role in expanding access to resources, strengthening social support systems, and improving outcomes for vulnerable communities.

CIN representatives emphasized that visits like this help reinforce shared goals of building healthier and more resilient communities. Through continued dialogue and cooperation with partners such as King County, the organization aims to expand its reach and deepen its impact.

CIN leaders also expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that ongoing engagement with public leaders helps ensure that the voices and needs of immigrant communities remain part of important conversations and decision-making processes. 🤝📰
