A Week of Play, Creativity, and Learning for Local Youth

Last week, youth participants with Congolese Integration Network took part in a series of activities designed to support growth, confidence, and connection in a safe and supportive environment.

Later in the week, a karaoke night brought a different kind of energy to the group. Participants stepped up to the microphone, sharing songs, laughter, and encouragement—an experience that helped build confidence and self-expression in a relaxed, communal setting.

The program also continued its focus on future opportunities through introductory coding sessions. These workshops exposed youth to foundational concepts in technology, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity about potential career pathways in the digital world.

As the week wrapped up, leaders reflected on the importance of consistency in youth programming—where every experience, whether playful or educational, contributes to shaping a stronger foundation for the future.
