Job Title: Parent Child Plus Program Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Children, youth & Families
Overtime Status: Exempt (not eligible for overtime pay)
Schedule: Full-time
Date: March 2024 - until filled
Job Purpose
Oversees all aspects of the Parent-Child Home Program and supervises Home Visitors. Works closely with school district, government agency, and community organization personnel who provide supportive services to program families.
Responsibilities
● Recruits, hires, trains, manages, and supervises Home Visitors.
● Recruits, interviews, and selects families to participate in the program.
● Selects, orders, and distributes early childhood curricular materials. Write curriculum guide sheets as needed.
● Visits and interviews program families at least twice a year. Assists families as needed with interpreting evaluations and procedures resulting from PC+ referral, and with accessing school and community resources.
● Prepares and maintains records, reports, and/or test data on participating children. Analyzes results of assessments and makes recommendations based on findings while working closely with the Community Health Navigator and all Early Learning Specialists.
● Assists in development of program budget; monitors program spending. Assists in preparing funding proposals.
● Participates as needed in research activities conducted by The Parent-Child Home Program’s National Center. Collects and maintains data on participating families as
required by PC+ National Center, funders, school districts, etc. Participates in follow-
up research with families.
● Maintains relationships with school district staff and other early childhood education programs.
● Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
● BA degree and/or equivalent work experience
● 2+ years of experience coordinating a direct service program for a community-based organization
● Experience, either personal or professional, playing and reading with young children. Interest in learning about early childhood development
Technical Skills
● Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
● Bilingual strongly preferred – fluent English plus French, Swahili, and/or Lingala.
● Valid Washington driver’s license, current automobile insurance, ability to use personal vehicle for home visits and other outside meetings
Other Skills
● Ability to successfully complete Site Coordinator training with the PCHP National Center
● Ability to work in a non-judgmental way with individuals from different countries and various cultures
● Understanding of issues facing Congolese immigrants and refugees living in King County.
● Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
● Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills
● Ability to handle multiple priorities
Working Conditions
Office environment sitting at a desk with frequent computer and telephone use. Travel in
South King County and the greater Seattle area for client home visits and other
meetings.
Physical Requirements
Ability to drive and visit clients’ homes and participate in outside meetings. Occasional
lifting up to 20 lbs.

Schedule and Worksite: This position works full-time Monday – Friday during standard business hours. There may be situations where the employee is required to work on the weekend. The supervisor will communicate with the employee. The work location is in person at the CIN office, 19550 International Blvd suite 103, Sea-Tac, WA, 98188.
