Our First Co-Sponsorship Success Story!

Nzmwitakuze Bujeniya and her family embarked on their American dream in the heart of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, warmly welcomed by a team of volunteers in the co-sponsorship program from Amazon and Congolese Integration Network., and professionals from the IRC. They settled into a two-bedroom apartment with immense support, including groceries and hot meals from caring co-sponsors.

The IRC team helped them with essential tasks like English classes, school enrolment for their children, healthcare, transportation guidance, and cultural orientation. Community Sponsorship program goes beyond resettlement as it creates a nurturing environment for families like the Bujeniyas to thrive. The Bujeniya family's journey demonstrates the power of compassion and community, reminding us that together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those seeking refuge and a fresh start.
